Russian Gazprom to Belarus Gas Supply Fully
Liputan6.com, Moscow: Russian gas company Gazprom decided to supply the full gas supplies to Belarus. This after President Alexander Lukashenko has sued the Russian government.
Recently, Moscow spokesman said the government has canceled the reduction in supply as much as 40 percent after receiving confirmation of payment of the debt of Belarus amounted to U.S. $ 190 million or around Rp 1.71 trillion. Answers were obtained after Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held a meeting with President Lukashenko in Minsk, last Tuesday.
Earlier, President Lukashenko threatened to close the gas transmission access to various European countries. Especially, when Russia cut gas supplies persisted into the country since last Monday because of debt.
