Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Narcotics Agency will soon build a rehabilitation center for drug addicts in some parts of Indonesia on the orders of law.

"Based on the statute, the state must provide rehabilitation center for drug addicts," said Head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) Gories Mere in Jakarta, Friday night.

Gories said, now BNN to work with the hospitals in central cities, to accommodate a drug addict to undergo rehabilitation.

Gories said some ministries also issued a requirement to provide at least 20 rooms on each nursing rehabilitation for drug addicts healing process.

Three-star police general was explaining changes narcotics laws require that drug addicts should receive treatment, in addition to serving his sentence.

"Former drug addict now criminalized the estuary at the rehab place," said Gories.

Meanwhile, former drug addicts, Yerry Pattinasarany tells an ex-addict must have the support of all including the government in order to undergo the process of healing through rehabilitation.

Yerry which is also the son of the late Ronny Pattinasarany football figures, revealed once a drug addict for seven years, but can return to normal life thanks to family support, environment.
