Armored vehicles patrol the City in Southern Kyrgyzstan
London (ANTARA News / Reuters) - Armoured vehicles patrolled the city of Osh, southern Kyrgyzstan, Friday morning, in an effort to restore calm after youth gangs to destroy the glass windows, looting shops and burning cars, according to Interfax news agency reported, citing the eyewitness testimony .
Southern Kyrgyzstan, is the powerhouse Kumanbek Bakiyev, who was ousted in April as president of Central Asian countries are in the rebellion which raises concerns among regional players - Russia, China and the United States.
On May 13 supporters had control of several government buildings, and rebel against the government in Bishkek.
Interfax news agency, citing the testimony of a witness, reported as many as seven armored vehicles passed one street in the city center.
As reported by Interfax, a police personnel said some security forces gathered in the square in the city center in order to decide tactics to restore calm. The agency gave no further details.
Kyrgyzstan, which holds a U.S. military base and Russia, was ruled by a caretaker government - which recently canceled plans pemlihan president this year and set a vote in October 2011.
