Telkom For Dividend Rp261, 41 Per Share

Jakarta (ANTARA) - General Meeting of shareholders of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk in Jakarta, Friday, decided to distribute dividend of Rp261, 41 per share or equivalent to 50 per cent of net profit in 2009 amounted to Rp11, 3 trillion.

Vice President of Public and Marketing Communication Telkom, Eddy Kurnia in Jakarta said the dividend will be paid on July 26, 2010.

Eddy said earlier the company had declared an interim dividend amounting to Rp524, 19 billion and paid on December 28, 2009.

Meanwhile, the agenda for discussion because of change of directors postponed the prospective directors of Telkom in the Final Appraisal Team is still unresolved. Ministry of SOE directors to prepare three candidates who come from internal Telkom Telkom itself.
