Governor: UN Deuteronomy Satisfy Graduation Rate
Jakarta (ANTARA) - graduation rate of students in Jakarta after the implementation of the National Examination (UN) Deuteronomy is considered satisfactory, because the end result more or less the same as last year.
"After examination of Deuteronomy, the end result is not worse, about the same as last year," said Governor Fauzi Bowo at the City Hall of Jakarta, Friday.
Junior high student graduation rate was recorded at 99.79 percent, 98.65 percent of high schools and vocational schools amounted to 99.77 percent.
The increase in the number of students who passed the test occurred after the UN Deuteronomy ..
Previously, high school students who failed to reach 9.3 percent and the graduation rate of only 90.672 per cent, to vocational school graduation rate is only 92.18 percent.
According to the governor, a high failure rate this year is partly because the students in the Municipality did not get the proper socialization of a new UN assessment system introduced this year 2010.
"If the first 10 math, science and language of his nine 3, its value can be` removed `(graduated). But now we can not take, if you drop one does not pass the course. This is fixed in the UN Deuteronomy," said Fauzi.
