PDI-P Target 60 Percent wins local elections
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Secretary General of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle Tjahjo Kumolo said his party won 60 percent target the regional head elections throughout the country.
"Our target is to increase from the previous year. The target is 60 percent more," said PDI-P secretary general Tjahjo Kumolo in Jakarta on Thursday.
According to Tjahjo, the target is very reasonable and not excessive. Tjahyo explain the PDI-P will not force kadernya to get ahead in the election.
"PDI-P based on the results of the survey who have a high elektibilitas, that's what we promote," said Tjahjo.
Therefore, he added, if no PDI-P cadre who have high elektabilitas will find someone else.
"So other people could be candidates but the representative of the PDI-P cadre," said Tjahjo.
Tjahjo said PDI-P is always open and not shut down. According to Tjahjo, during the candidate has a commitment to nationalism, Homeland and nationality then it is unacceptable.
