1-0, Germany Crying, Going Spanish

BERLIN - "It is finished. It's over. We've lost," wrote Germany's most popular newspaper, Bild. The whole of Germany is in mourning, after an anti-climax of a fantastic story of a young German team at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. 1-0 defeat of Spain in the semi-finals.

"All Germans are now disappointed and tears flowed at the corners of the country," wrote the newspaper. Bild also wrote: "No matter how hard it is to receive it, the defeat was deserved."

"The players we've tried everything. But unfortunately, we just do not get the right opportunity. We must recognize Spain too good for us."

"1-0. Germany was crying. Spain drove on," wrote the daily Hamburger Abendblatt city.

Frankfurter Allgemeine wiser by saying that "the German dream trip has ended." And the magazine Spiegel said on its website "to destroy the dream Spanish German to reach the final."

Popular Berlin tabloid "BZ" choose to look more into the future, with great expectations for the young German team that might exceed their expectations at the World Cup.
