Do not Hurt Investors Warned Issuers

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The companies listed (issuer) on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) are cautioned not to hurt investor confidence and always keep them.

Once issuers hurt investors so concerned is not believed to be shunned and again, investors will not even be forgiven, said Eddy Sugito Director of BEI Shares in the event the listing of shares of PT Indopoly and Evergreen in Jakarta, Friday.

"Investors are now more fierce than our wives were at home. If the wife will forgive us may get hurt again, but now investors are not willing to forgive mistakes issuers," he said.

Therefore, he expects that issuers, especially the newly listed on the Stock Exchange, in order not to hurt and always maintain investor confidence.

"If investors happy and confident with the issuer, by itself will provide added value to the company concerned," he said.
