Confederation would PAN Weight Walking
Liputan6.com, Jakarta: The idea of confederation political parties that had recently appointed the National Mandate Party and Golkar Party suspected the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle just to outsmart the existing regulations (parlementary threshold). In fact, Golkar struggling threshold to five percent votes in the upcoming General Election in 2014.
"If you impose a permanent confederation system, it must change the law of elections and political parties. And, to change it needs approval from the big parties," said Burhanuddin Muhtadi, a political observer from the Indonesian Survey Institute, recently.
Of course, different response came from the smaller parties that in the last election did not go parlementary threshold of 2.5 percent threshold. Arguably, the idea of PAN into an opportunity for the parties to remain engaged in Building Council. Because with these things, they can join in a flag at the 2014 election. (ASW / ANS)
