Johannesburg - A German tourist had to face court after allegedly attacking a flight attendant when the plane he was traveling to watch the World Cup semi-final between Germany and Spain could not be landed in Durban.
"He attacked one of the crew, when the plane could not land in Durban and had to fly back to Port Elizabeth because there is no place in the King Shaka Airport," said Mthunzi Mhaga, a spokesman for the Attorney General of South Africa.
Mhaga said Jorge Mardo (37) present in court last Friday on charges of violating flight regulations.
Five commercial airlines which bring supporters to the match in Germany and Spain on Wednesday and then had to back titles since the landing of the space problems at King Shaka International Airport in Durban. This Inisiden make hundreds of fans missed the game. (AFP)
