Receive a body of Egyptian Adolescents Who Shot at Israeli Border
Ismailia, Egypt (AFP / Reuters) - Egypt receives body of a teenage boy 16-year-old Egyptian who was shot dead by Israel when it tried to infiltrate into Israel, Wednesday, according to security sources in Sinai, Thursday.
"Young men of Egypt had a narcotic and was accompanied by a group of smugglers who tried to flee to Egypt after the shooting," the source said.
After being shot Awdah Mohamed was taken to hospital in Israel before he died, said the source.
Egyptian border with Israel known as the active area for smuggling operations, sometimes including illegal drugs and illegal immigrants. Location is also known as a major transit route African immigrants and refugees seeking work or asylum in Israel.
Egyptian police have killed at least 20 immigrants along the border with Israel so far in 2010, far more than the number in 2009 is 19 persons.
