Prosperous Peace Party (PDS) finally decided to carry Fandi Utomo as a potential mayor of Pilwali Surabaya, 2 June. In addition, the party also brought a member of the TNI, the accompanying cawawali Fandi.

Fandi carry this decision set out in the PDS DPP meeting that lasted almost all day. At the meeting the team decided that the proper Fandi Utomo was carried into cawali.

"We brought Fandi (Utomo) as cawali is final. Fandi Utomo consideration already popular" said Chairman of the PDS, Ruyandi Hutasoit when contacted reporters, Thursday (11/3/2010).

Ruyandi, explained Fandi also carried by the coalition parties including Ulema National Awakening Party (PKNU), Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) and the United Development Party (PPP). The coalition was expected to reap considerable voice in the upcoming Pilwali June 2.

Ruyandi added, the meeting also decided that would accompany cawawali Fandi Utomo, an officer of TNI-AU. After being recommended as cawawali active officer will ask for early retirement in the near future.

"I forgot his name but who will accompany cawawali Fandi was a marshal, and he was declared ready to retire early," he added.
