Next week U.S. President Barack Obama will visit Indonesia. For Obama, a visit is very important because Indonesia is an important region in the world.

This was conveyed by White House spokesman Robert Gibbs in Washington, USA. "The President convinced this is a very important visit, this important region in the world and is an important partner," Gibbs said on a visit to Indonesia.

"Indonesia, the largest Muslim country in the world, must have seen, like many other countries including our country has seen the impact of the terrible terrorist activities," Gibbs said as quoted by AFP news agency on Friday (12/3/2010).

It is said Gibbs, Obama will stress about antiterrorism measures during his visit to Indonesia on March 20 next.

According to Gibbs, Obama also will use his visit to Indonesia to make a speech he delivered in Cairo, Egypt last year. At that moment in his speech, Obama called on the improvement of relations between the Islamic world with the United States.
