China Vice President Arrives in Russia
Vladivostok (AFP / OANA) - China's Vice President Xi Jinping and his entourage arrived in Vladivostok on Saturday to start the tour in Russia.
He is scheduled to meet with Russian leaders and participate in the opening ceremony of Year of China in the Russian language.
"The visit this time will provide the basis for the strengthening of political interaction, deepen cooperation of mutual benefit of both countries for the sake of all parties and to promote partnership and strategic interaction of China-Russia," said China's Vice President.
The guests will be in China for two days Vladivostok.
On Saturday afternoon, they will visit Vladivostok railway station and the historic "Pacific Fleet Military Glory."
Then the expanded bilateral meeting will be held to discuss prospects for cooperation on the border of both countries.
On Sunday, the delegation of China will see the Russian preparations to host the APEC summit in Vladivostok in 2012 and several other places. After that they headed St. Petersburg.
