Hatta: Loans Not Something Scary
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Proposed Changes Membengkaknya deficit in 2010 to 2.1 percent or Rp 129.8 trillion, compared to the 2010 state budget which is only 1.6 percent or Rp 98 trillion helped raise the portion of debt. The reason, one of the sources of deficit financing comes from debt.
However, Coordinating Minister for Economic Hatta Rajasa asserted that government borrowing will be maintained.
"If loans were not something frightening or against all such loans be used for productive sectors," said Hatta, in the office, Jakarta, Friday (19/3/2010).
Hatta debt claimed by the government continued to decline from year to year.
"The debt we continue to decline. The debt that we do, pay a much larger time than paying the new," he said.
