Give False Information, Member of Parliament reported
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Anti-Corruption Coalition Smoking Section (KAKAR), Thursday (18/3/2010) afternoon, reported three members of the House of Representatives Commission IX who allegedly removing a paragraph about the addictive substance of tobacco to the Police Headquarters Criminal Investigation Body.
Members of the coalition, Kartono Muhammad, states, due to the removal of the verse, the government could not regulate tobacco problem (cigarette). Three members were reported, the Chairman of Commission IX Tjiptaning Rebekah, and two members, and Ayesha Baramuli Mariani Solekan.
KAKAR third suspect deliberately omitted Paragraph 2 of Article 113 of Law of Health. All three gave orders in writing to the secretariat of the Parliament to remove the paragraph that says tobacco is addictive substances.
"Due to the loss of the verse, about the tobacco could not be arranged," added Kartono Muhammad.
David ML Tobing lawyer who had come to the Criminal Investigation Body to report stated, had received the police report. In a letter written evidence of the police report, three former members of the Special Committee Health Act was allegedly violated Article 263 and 266 of the Penal Code on the Granting of False Information to an authentic deed.
