Ex-Members Urge Formation of Special Committee Supervisory Team Century Case

Parliament has decided the case of Century Bank guilty in policy and implementation. Not want the decision stagnates, a former member of the Special Committee Sudarsa Gunandjar Agun Century urged the House immediately after the oversight team to form a recess end of March.

"Let it be formed later after the recess. Because it was a direct order from the recommendations," said Agun on the sidelines of Refreshment Cadre Training and Mobilization of the Golkar Party at Hotel Borobudur, Jakarta Pusat, Jumat (12/3/2010).

Agun proposed Supervisory Team membership is divided proportionally by the factions that have similar membership in the Special Committee, with the number 15 people. To be effective team work, Agun asked the team members drawn from former members of the Special Committee. The reason is because the former committee members more control of the material Century.

"Because from the beginning the team who worked on the special committee and discuss this Century Bank scandal that will be sharper," said a member of Commission II.

In addition, Agun suggested that this oversight team will be given the authority to summon the good law enforcement is the police, the Commission, or the Attorney General. But it was limited to calling to see how the case.
