Ramallah, KOMPAS.com - National Autonomous Government of Palestine (PNA), Thursday (11/3/2010), rejected "regrets" Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the proposed plan to build new homes in disputed East Jerusalem area.

Leader of the Palestinian negotiator, Saeb Erakat said Netanyahu had spoken about the "mistake" about the time the announcement of new settlement projects and not convey the wrong point.

Netanyahu's office said in a statement Netanyahu "sorry" because the announcement was made during U.S. Vice President Joe Biden was in the area to help Israelis and Palestinians resume peace talks, which had been stuck since December 2008.

Erakat added Netanyahu apologies inadmissible because the Palestinian differences with Netanyahu settlement covering all issues of conflict with international law. "Netanyahu to cancel the decision to build 1600 houses in Jewish settlements in East Jerusalem," said Erakat.

PNA was ready to begin again indirect talks mediated by U.S. Israel.

Erakat said early discussions had now become a problem to be topics for the United States to pressure Israel remove settlements plan recently.
