In the first 8 days in the month of April 2010, the amount of foreign holdings in government securities (GS) increased to Rp 4 trillion so that the total reached 136.46 trillion.
This was conveyed in a Debt Management Directorate data quoted Finance Ministry, Monday (12 / 4).
SUN amount traded in the market until 8 April 2010 was Rp 598.78 trillion, the largest portion is held by banks with the amount of Rp 240.53 trillion.
Bank Indonesia (BI) also holds the instrument amounted to Rp 16.83 trillion SUN. Then the mutual fund industry has amounted to Rp 44.58 trillion government securities, the insurance industry has SUN Rp 77.53 trillion, pension funds holding Rp 37.37 trillion, Rp 450 billion securities firms, and the other Rp 45.05 trillion.
