Hundreds of illegal migrant workers arrive in the country
Liputan6.com, Tanjungpinang: A total of 110 Indonesian migrant workers (TKI) that the Malaysian government deported arrived in Sri Bintan Pura Harbor Tanjungpinang, Riau Islands, Tuesday (13 / 4). Before discharge, they were arrested in several prisons Malaysia. There, the workers claimed the money was taken, and had personally whipped.
Most of them were convicted of immigration violations, including not having work permits. Some of them do not depart Indonesian Labor Service Company (PJTKI) official. There is also the only travelers with passports.
Among them, as many as 18 migrant workers were women and two babies. They mostly come from Lombok, Madura, Flores, and Lampung. The workers then taken to special shelters in the street while waiting for the Transito Tanjungpinang repatriated to their respective regions. (AIS)
