Leave Kazakhstan, Bakiyev Contrary to Belarus
Liputan6.com, Bishkek: Former President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev arrived in Kazakhstan yesterday, Saturday (17 / 4) morning local time, heading for the capital of Belarus, Minsk. According to local media reports, it is unknown reasons Bakiyev's departure to the City of Minsk.

In his speech on television Kazakhstan, Bakiyev expressed his gratitude to the government of Kazakhstan who have helped and cared for him. "I would like to express my gratitude to you for help and care for me," Bakiyev said to the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
In other developments, Miroslav Jenca, special representative of Secretary General of the United Nations to the Central Asian region and the head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA), is scheduled to visit Kyrgyzstan, tomorrow. He intends to continue efforts to assist the government while the UN achieve peace and development in these Central Asian countries.
"UN Secretary General had asked him to continue UN efforts to help the authorities in Bishkek to ensure conditions for the return of peace, prosperity, and become a democratic country," said a spokesman for the UN Headquarters in New York, United States. (RST / ANS / Xinhua)
