JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Kerispatih bands new vocalist, Fandy Santoso, reluctant to say as a substitute vocalist Samuel Simorangkir Hendra aka Sammy, who lodged the case thrown out because of drugs. Fandy claimed to only want to fill the vacancy position Kerispatih vocals.

"I came not to replace, but I have come to fill the void. I came up with their own colors," Fandy said when met at the Office Nagaswara, Jalan Johar, Gondangdia, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (05/12/2010).

Fandy, who confessed fan of Keri Noble, initially felt a bit overwhelmed by the big names in Sammy Kerispatih. "I also feel there are loads because I had to replace Sammy, but I guess I did not replace Sammy, I just fill the void left by a band vocalist," Fandy added.

Apart from feeling a burden, Fandy optimistic if the color of his vocal music will soon be united with a melancholy Kerispatih. "What is certain from the beginning I've liked the song and like-minded with my vocal color. And let Sammy with his own quality which I admit is very good, but let it go Fandy with their own quality," Fandy concluded. (FAN)
