Obama: U.S. economy to the Right Direction
BUFFALLO, KOMPAS.com - President Barack Obama, Thursday, asserted, the U.S. economy heading in the right direction, after official data showed new claims for unemployment benefits fell for four consecutive weeks.
Speaking at an industry crowd in the city of Buffalo in the State of New York, Obama acknowledged that the labor market has suffered recently because of recession but it says something has been seen to improve. "I do not need to tell you all that we are still emerging from one of the worst recession in history. It's tough everywhere, but cities like Buffalo has been hit very hard," Obama said.
"But I can say this is beyond the shadow of doubt. Today, we are headed in the right direction," he said. "Despite all the opponents, predicting the failure of last year, our economy growing again. Next month will be stronger than last month. And next year will be better than this year."
