Non Oil and Gas Exports Down 7.13 Percent April
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded the Indonesian non-oil exports during April decreased by 7.13 percent to reach 9.85 billion U.S. dollars.
April 2010 non-oil exports reached 9.85 billion U.S. dollars, down 7.13 percent compared to March 2010, while compared to April 2009 exports increased by 36.79 percent, said Head of the BPS, Rusman Heriawan, in Jakarta, Tuesday.
The biggest decline in non-oil exports during the month of April occurred in groups of ore, metal gray scale or amounted to 291.2 million U.S. dollars, while there are still large enough to increase exports at organic chemicals by 59.3 million U.S. dollars.
Non-oil exports to Japan during April 2010 to reach the largest number that is 1.24 billion dollars, followed by the United States amounted to 1.06 billion dollars and China 930 million U.S. dollars. While exports to Europe (27 countries) reached 1.07 billion U.S. dollars.
