PARIS, Kompas.com - Tennis players from the U.S. sisters, Serena and Venus Williams made sure the semifinal qualifying for the grand slam tennis tournament French Open, Monday (31/05/2010).
Serena and Venus have no difficulty means defeat pair Maria Kirilenko and Agnieszka Radwansaka in straight sets 6-2 6-3. For Serena and Venus, qualifying for the semi-final is a long step toward achievement of their ambition to repeat as champion in 1999.
Serena herself is seeded first singles, will face seventh seed Australian Samantha Stosur in the quarterfinal. While her sister, Venus was knocked out in the fourth round when defeated Nadia Petrova.
