Two Indian Soldiers Killed In Clashes in Kashmir

Srinagar, India (AFP / IRNA-Oana) - At least two soldiers were killed and others were reported missing after fierce armed clashes between soldiers and guerrillas in the jungle area of Poonch, Kashmir, Tuesday night.

The reports said that four soldiers were also injured in the fighting, which erupted after troops guard Kahsmir Boundary that divides India and Pakistan belong.

The clashes came face each other with an army of guerrilla groups said, they barged into Indian Kashmir from Pakistan.

Police sources said the soldiers from the 17th Regiment of the Armed Forces All-India, while it was patrolling in the forests in the area of Krishna Ghati in Mendhar sector, Poonch district, when disaling dealing with a group of heavily armed militants.

Fierce clashes that lasted for several hours had killed many guerrillas and two soldiers.

One soldier was reported missing in the clash, while four others suffered serious injuries and was transferred from the scene to a nearby hospital.
