BI will Announce Islamic Banking Liquidity Projection

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Bank Indonesia (BI) liquidity projections will be announced through the site www.bi.go.id Islamic banking, Commercial Bank Daily Report (LHBU) and Bank Indonesia Scriptless Securities Settlement System (BI-SSSS).

Head of Public Relations Aman Santoso BI, in a press release, Friday, said that the liquidity projection information includes instrument OMO (open market operation) sharia and "Standing Facilities Sharia" fall time and the estimated "excess reserves" of Islamic banking which will be maintained.

According to him, with the provision of liquidity projection information is expected to encourage further development of the Inter-Bank Money Market based on Sharia principles (SATISFIED) as a means of short-term liquidity management of Islamic banking.
