Naoto Kan Be Elected Japanese Prime Minister
Liputan6.com, Tokyo: As predicted earlier, the Chairman of the Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ), Naoto Kan, was elected new Prime Minister of Japan, Friday (4 / 6) [. Japanese Finance Minister had managed to get 313 votes from the total 477 votes in the House of Commons. Kan vote also approved at the next election in the Upper House [read: DPJ President Naoto Kan New].
He will deliver policy speeches and answered questions from representatives of ruling and opposition parties in Japan's national diet, or parliament, next week. Meanwhile, the new cabinet would probably be announced on Tuesday next.
