Nadal advanced to the Final After Defeat Melzer
Paris (ANTARA News / Reuters) - Rafael Nadal advanced to the finals of the French Open after a record three straight sets victory over Jurgen Melzer in the semifinals on Friday.
The Spaniard, who tried to retake the title which he won four years in a row before losing a surprise last year, presents stunning game to record the victory 6-2 6-3 7-6.
Melzer Austrian tennis player, who played in his first semifinal at a Grand Slam, featuring attack and managed to shake the game when Nadal could rise towards the end of the game.
Nadal steals the number of service Melzer in the sixth game the first set and continued to slide until he lost points from the service when the position 5-4 in the third set but returned to establish himself for winning the "tiebreak".
Robin Soderling, who won over the Spaniard in the fourth round of the tournament last year which was the first defeat Nadal at Roland Garros, had more waiting in the finals after a victory in five-set match against Tomas Berdych.
