Lunch Index Up 2.09 Percent

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) in the morning session, Thursday, closed rose 57.209 points, or 2.09 percent to a level of 2790.887.

LQ 45 Index also rose 12.352 points (2.33 percent) to a level of 541.601.

"Panca Global Securities Research analyst Betrand Reynaldi, said the strengthening of seed stocks make positive moves Composite Index rose by two percent.

"Strengthening of seed stocks making up the index IDX, plus the movement of regional bourses positive," he said.

Regional exchanges including the Nikkei-225 index climbed to a level of 9890.95 287.710 points, the Hang Seng Index gained 358.789 points to 19830.58, the Straits Times index rose 56.720 points to 2784.29 thin.

The number of shares changing hands reached 3.524 billion pieces and the value of Rp2, 149 billion. A total of 166 shares rose, 24 fell and 52 shares of stock does not move.
