Sana `a (ANTARA News / Xinhua-Oana) - About 15 people were killed when floods caused by heavy rains swept in the three provinces of Yemen.

China's news agency, Xinhua, quoted the defense ministry source on Wednesday said the number of people also were missing in flooding, and police rescue teams launched a search and rescue operation to find the missing victims.

In Ibb province, about 150 miles south of the capital, seven people including two women and three children were killed due to heavy rainfall.

Meanwhile, in Sana `a. sources said that one person was killed due to floods, and an Ethiopian nationals died due to electric short circuit.
