Torres Thigh Injury
Madrid (ANTARA News / Reuters) - Striker Fernando Torres suffered minor injuries on his left thigh, according to the Spanish Football Federation announced in their official page (www.rfef.es).
Front of the Liverpool players were appearing as a substitute in the World Cup final when they won against the Netherlands in Johannesburg, Sunday.
He fell while chasing the ball near the end of extra time on the game's final match.
Federation does not explain how long the player should rest, only reveal the results of the examination will be sent to the club.
New Torres foot surgery before attending the final match in South Africa and perform less skilled and not scored a goal in the tournament once every four years.
