Liputan6.com, Melonguane: Climatology Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) informing an earthquake measuring five on the Richter scale occurred 40 miles southeast of Melonguane, North Sulawesi, on Friday (16 / 7) morning. Earthquake which occurred at 8:40 pm or 7:48 o'clock pm was located at latitude 3.70 North-125, 1991 East Longitude with a depth of 102 kilometers.

However, this time no potential earthquake-tsunami. The epicenter was also located 50 kilometers northeast of Tahuna, North Sulawesi, 262 kilometers northeast of Bitung, North Sulawesi, 273 kilometers northeast of Manado, North Sulawesi, and 2386 kilometers northeast of Jakarta.
