PADANG, KOMPAS.com - Person arrested because police officers caught using drugs type of shabu-shabu at the Hotel Prince City, Town Field, Wednesday evening.

"Person tertangkp police members in the City Prince Hotel is Briptu P. He served in Padangpariaman, West Sumatra," said Director of the Narcotics Police of West Sumatra, Kombes Ermi Widiyatno, in Padang, Thursday (01/07/2010).

According to him, the police caught red-handed in room 109 Hotel Pangera City, on Wednesday at around 18:00 pm.

"In the hotel room officers also arrested a lady friend bernisial E (35)," he said.

Of the two suspects, the officers seized evidence in the form of two packages of shabu-shabu with a large suction device.

"Evidence was found on a mattress as well as officers in the City Prince Hotel room floor," said Kombes Ermi Widiyatno.

"Based on the development of such a case, how many hours later, at around 20:00 pm, the police managed to arrest three people returning drug users of shabu-shabu in the area Aurduri, Lubuk Begalung District, city of Padang," he said.

According to him, three people arrested are drug users who had the initials A (30), S (35), S (24). Of the three suspects one of whom shabu-shabu dealers.

A suspect is a resedivis in the same case. In 2005 he had been arrested by the police in the area of Pondok, Padang District South, "he said.

The suspects can be snared by Act number 35 of 2009 on Narcotic Drugs, with a minimum penalty of four years and maximum 15 years in prison.
