Menpora: One Enterprise, One Branch Sports
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora), Andy Mallaranggeng urge all State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) together support the improvement of sports performance in Indonesia.
According to Andy Mallaranggeng, it will be done through cooperation between SOEs with KEMENPORA.
Encountered after the inauguration of Civil Servants (PNS) Athlete Menpora Office, Jakarta, Thursday (1/4/2010) is a former spokesman for President claims to have signed an MoU with the Ministry of SOEs related to this cooperation.
Through this partnership is expected to overshadow a single state-owned parent sports organizations. So that the Big Board (PB) is no longer experiencing financial difficulties and improve the performance had been able to run optimally.
Andy also emphasizes other benefits of this cooperation for the athlete in the future. The athletes will be given facilities to undergo a career as an athlete as well as employee concerned so that the welfare state has also increased.
"I hope that through this agreement the future of our athletes to be more secure. Parents do not need anymore is concerned if her son wanted to be a sportsman, but fully supported so that we can print the young athletes and achievers to make Indonesia proud", said Andy.
This cooperation will be applicable to all SOEs in Indonesia. While the state-owned enterprises are free to choose what parent organization will overshadow them.
