Cilacap (AFP) - Department of Culture and Tourism (Dinbudpar) Cilacap regency, Central Java, ready to facilitate the tourists who want to travel to the island of Nusakambangan.

"Nusakambangan Island was still a closed area. But we can facilitate the tourists, namely by helping to find a tour to Nusakambangan permission requests," said Chief Dinbudpar Cilacap district, Indro Cahyono, in Cilacap, Friday.

He said, Dinbudpar have explored the possibility of resumption of access and tourism on the island of reclaiming it has been discussed with the head of the correctional institution on the island.

But to be able to tour to Nusakambangan, he said, travelers must request permission in advance to the correctional institution.

Nevertheless, he said, tourists can now enjoy a number of tourist attraction in the area east Nusakambangan, among others, the Citadel and Coastal Pendem Karangbolong.

"In reclaiming the east lot of excellent cultural attractions to be enjoyed," he said.

Previously, Head of Regional Office of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights in Central Java Province, Chairuddin Idrus while visiting the Rock Correctional Institution in Nusakambangan Island, said the island has many natural resources and beautiful panorama.
