Distributes KUR BRI Rp3, 1 Trillion

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Bank Rakyat Indonesia to distribute credit to business people Rp3, 1 trillion in semester I/2010.

According to BRI President Director Sofyan Basyir after a coordination meeting at the office of Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs in Jakarta, Tuesday, attainment, according to the optimistic target of the first semester and could reach the target until the end of the year.

"The target this semester is reached. Hopefully achieved (target end of the year)," he said.

He said the KUR BRI has a target delivery to the lower limit and upper limit Rp6 IDR8 trillion trillion.

"KUR BRI continued to Rp6 trillion and maximum IDR8 trillion to target the top," he said.

Sofyan added BRI will buy shares in PT Bank Agroniaga Page owned Plantation Retirement Fund (Dapenbun) PT Plantation Nusantara (PTPN) and all funds will be drawn from internal cash BRI.

"It is the final stage, will be finalized at the Extraordinary General Meeting (General Meeting of Shareholders Extraordinary)," he said.

He said the BRI will buy 80 percent stake in Bank Agro with the normal price and it represents the maximum number of shares purchased by the BRI.

Previously Sofyan ensure the acquisition of shares will be executed in the Agro Bank in August 2010 through GMS LB and BRI are ready to absorb all the shares offered Agro Bank.
