Israel Will Not Apologize To Turkey
Liputan6.com, Jerusalem: "Israel will never apologize for defending its citizens." This is what a senior Israeli government, after Turkey demanded an apology for the attack happened aid in Gaza in May earlier [read: Turkey Threatens Decide Relations with Israel].
This comment was leveled after Ahmet Davutoglu - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey - will swear off diplomatic relations with Israel, except to apologize for the attack which killed nine Turkish citizens. In addition Davutoglu also urged Israel to acknowledge that the attack was unfair.
Responding to the Turkish threat, Israeli officials reacted angrily at last. "If you want an apology, you do not need to use threats or ultimatums," said Yigal Palmor, a spokesman for the Israeli Foreign Ministry. "All this makes us confident that Turkey has another agenda in mind," he added, without giving further details. (Telegraph / Job)
