Pakistan: Police Catch 12 People In connection with the Lahore bombings
Lahore (AFP / AKI-Oana) - Pakistani police have arrested 12 people suspected of involvement in the attack in May against two places of worship and one hospital in Lahore, killing 82 people.
Police also seized bomb-making materials and other weapons, said one report, quoting a deputy police chief Rao Sardar operation. But Rao did not say when the arrest was made.
Suspect guerrillas detonated a vest bomb in May in a suicide bombing in two places of worship in Lahore Ahmadiyya, the second largest city in Pakistan.
Three days later four people were killed in a suicide attack at a hospital where the injured from the attacks on places of worship had been treated.
Lahore is the July 1 attack that killed 43 people and injured 175 others in one's most sacred places in Pakistan.
