JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Port, Indonesia II (Persero) menghibahkan USD 440 million to conduct a Community Development Program Motorcycle Mechanic Training. Realization of this program is achieved in cooperation with PT Hartomo Notices Mechanics.

The objectives of this program are children of graduates of junior high, high school, vocational school and equal with emphasis on children from poor families in Jakarta area.

"Training will take four months, and started on Monday (05/03/2010). The goal, 50 participants attended the training, and we hope the community is less capable or dropping out of school in the vicinity of the port can become a mechanical energy professional motorcycle simultaneously open employment for those who want to conduct independent operations, "said Head of Public Relations Pelindo II Eddy Haristiani in Jakarta.

In detail, the budget of Rp 440 million was divided in training costs for 50 participants amounted to USD 275 million, living expenses for all participants USD 150 million, transportation assistance to Rp 100,000 per person, and health care costs USD 10 million.
