Capex Budget Rp4 Indofood, 2 Trillion

Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF), budgeted capital expenditure (capital expenditure / capex) for 2010 amounted to Rp4, 2 trillion.

President and CEO Anthony Salim in Jakarta on Friday said that the fund capex of whom 60 percent had to increase production in agriculture, 25 percent for children of CBP INDF PT Indofood Sukses Makmur and Bogasari siasanya for development and distribution.

"Capex we are 60 percent for agribusiness, 25 percent for Group CBP and the remainder for Bogasari development and distribution," he said.

While on the Capex funding, Anthony said, is entirely sourced from internally generated cash company.

While Director Thomas Thijie INDF said, the company preparing to build two sugar refineries in Pati, Central Java and South Sumatra. The Company has set aside 150 million U.S. dollars per one plant with a capacity of 100 thousand tons.

"The investments of each plant per 100 thousand tons, about 120-130 million U.S. dollars. Land, 20 million U.S. dollars. So, for a total of one plant 150 million U.S. dollars," he explained.

Meanwhile, INDF will distribute a dividend of Rp93 per share, the dividend equivalent to 40 percent from fiscal year 2009 net income recorded Rp2, 075 trillion.
